🏡Getting Started
Before you book a consultation.

We work across Temecula and its surrounding communities Harveston, Redhawk, Paloma del Sol, Wolf Creek, Crowne Hill, Vail Ranch, Roripaugh Ranch, Morgan Hill, and De Luz plus neighboring Murrieta. See our full service area for details.

Our focus is kitchen remodeling specifically full gut remodels, cabinet refacing, countertops, backsplashes, islands, and open-concept conversions. Specializing in one room type across one market lets us go deeper on permits, materials, and design than a general contractor spread across every room type.

You can look up any California contractor’s license status, bond, and insurance directly at cslb.ca.gov. We’d encourage doing this for any contractor you’re considering, not just us.

💰Cost & Pricing
Budgeting for your project.

Kitchen remodels in Temecula typically run $16,000–$95,000+ depending on scope, community, and finish tier. See our full Cost Guide 2026 for a breakdown by project type and neighborhood.

Yes, always. Every project starts with a written, itemized estimate material costs, labor, and scope broken out line by line and a signed contract before any work or deposit changes hands.

We can discuss milestone-based payment schedules tied to project phases during your consultation. Ask your project manager about current financing options when you book your estimate.

We conduct a pre-demo assessment of likely hidden conditions old plumbing, settled framing, outdated electrical before finalizing your estimate, so surprises are the exception rather than the norm. Any legitimate hidden-condition discovery is documented and approved by you before we proceed, not billed after the fact.

Cabinet refacing combined with a countertop and backsplash update delivers the highest visual impact per dollar without the cost of a full gut remodel.

📋Permits & HOA
What needs approval, and from whom.

You need a permit if your project involves electrical, plumbing, gas line, or structural changes. Purely cosmetic work painting, refacing, a countertop swap on the same footprint typically doesn’t require one. See our full Permit Guide for details.

In almost every Temecula HOA community, interior kitchen remodels are not reviewed HOAs generally regulate exterior-visible changes only. See our full HOA Guide for a community-by-community breakdown.

City of Temecula plan check typically runs 2–4 weeks for a first review, with most projects needing one correction round adding 3–10 business days. Riverside County properties like De Luz can run on a different timeline depending on current volume.

Yes. De Luz is unincorporated Riverside County land, so permits there go through Riverside County’s building department instead of the City of Temecula a separate process with its own plan check queue and timeline.

We pull and manage every required permit in-house as part of your project scope, using our CSLB license. You never have to be the one navigating the building department, scheduling inspections, or tracking plan check corrections.

🌡️Materials & Climate
What holds up in Temecula specifically.

Rancho California Water District’s hard water leaves mineral deposits on fixtures and can stain porous, unsealed natural stone over time. We generally recommend non-porous quartz or a properly sealed natural stone, along with a quality fixture finish rated for hard water conditions.

Quartz is the most popular choice for its durability and low maintenance against hard water. Quartzite and granite are popular for a natural stone look with proper sealing. See our full Countertop Installation guide for a material-by-material breakdown.

South and west-facing kitchens with significant window exposure benefit from UV-stable finishes certain paint and stain formulations resist fading better than others over years of Temecula’s sun exposure. We factor window orientation into material recommendations during your consultation.

Yes. Removing a load-bearing wall for an open-concept layout triggers California Building Code seismic review and typically requires a licensed structural engineer’s stamped plans before the City of Temecula will approve the permit.

Homes built in the 1990s in communities like Redhawk sometimes still have original galvanized plumbing, which corrodes internally over decades and can affect water pressure and quality. We assess existing plumbing condition during our pre-demo evaluation and can recommend replacement scope alongside your kitchen remodel.

🗓️Process & Timeline
What to expect from first call to final walkthrough.

A targeted update (refacing + countertop + backsplash) typically takes 1–3 weeks. A full gut remodel typically takes 8–12 weeks depending on scope, permit requirements, and material lead times. We provide a detailed schedule at project kickoff.

Yes, on every project. You’ll see a photorealistic 3D rendering of your kitchen cabinet finish, countertop material, layout before any demolition begins, so you’re approving a specific design rather than trusting a verbal description.

Yes. A single project manager oversees your project from initial consultation through final inspection not a rotating set of subcontractors you have to re-explain your project to each week.

We use dust containment barriers between the work area and the rest of your home, along with daily cleanup at the end of each work day, so the disruption stays contained to the kitchen itself as much as possible.

For a full gut remodel, yes your primary kitchen will be unusable for most of the project timeline. We discuss a temporary kitchen setup (a folding table, microwave, and mini-fridge in another room) as part of pre-project planning, and provide a realistic timeline so you can plan around it.

🗄️Cabinets, Countertops & Islands
Scope-specific questions.

Refacing keeps your existing cabinet boxes and replaces only the door faces and hardware faster and less expensive. Full replacement removes everything down to the studs. See our Cabinet Refacing guide for a full comparison.

After templating, fabrication typically takes 5–10 business days depending on material and current shop volume, followed by a single-day installation. See our Countertop Installation guide for the full process.

A waterfall edge extends the countertop material down the sides of the island to the floor, rather than stopping at a standard edge. It’s currently Temecula’s most-requested island upgrade see our Kitchen Island Installation guide for cost details.

A full-height backsplash behind the range — running from countertop to the underside of the upper cabinets or ceiling is a popular high-impact upgrade that also offers better grease and splatter protection than a standard 4-inch backsplash. See our Backsplash Installation guide.

Not always it depends on whether the wall is load-bearing. We assess this during your consultation and coordinate a structural engineer when required. Load-bearing removals require a City of Temecula permit and structural plan review.

Usually, yes standard sink base cabinets are dimensioned for an undermount sink, not an apron front’s exposed face. We measure the existing cabinet opening before ordering and either modify the base cabinet or order a farmhouse-sink-ready one as part of the project.
